Nervous system-informed wellbeing
Regulation for modern life
NeuroSense helps individuals, families, schools and organizations build resilience through body-first, science-grounded regulation tools.
We teach people to work with their nervous system - not against it.
Resilience is not built
through stress.
It is built through safety.
At NeuroSense, we believe resilience is not about pushing harder, coping better, or adding, more to an already full life. It begins with understanding the body, organising the nervous system, and creating small daily practices that support regulation from the inside out.
What is NeuroSense?
NeuroSense is an integrated wellbeing model developed by a psychologist and occupational therapist. It brings together neuroscience, sensory integration, Polyvagal Theory, neuroplasticity and psychology to support resilience, regulation and sustainable wellbeing.
BODY
We begin with the body and sensory system - creating awareness of how sensory experiences influence regulation, resilience and daily functioning.
NERVOUS SYSTEM
We support regulation through rhythm, predictability, movement, breath, connection and nervous system safety.
MIND
We use reflection, meaning-making and hope to support sustainable resilience and long-term wellbeing
Who we help
NeuroSense was developed to support healthier nervous systems in homes, schools, workplaces and everyday life - through practical, body-first approaches to regulation and resilience.
Parents & Caregivers
For parents who feel overwhelmed, stretched, and as dysregulated as the children they care for.
Educators & Schools
For teachers and schools wanting practical regulation tools that support both staff wellbeing and learning for the children.
Organisations
For workplaces wanting a nervous-system informed approach to stress, wellbeing and sustainable performance.
Safety
before
stillness.
Regulation is not the same as relaxation. At NeuroSense, we do not prescribe one-size-fits-all practices. We help people understand their own nervous system, identify what supports their regulation, and build small, realistic practices into everyday life.

The Founders: We stand on the
shoulders of giants —
and on our own.
NeuroSense was built from the intersection of two careers, two research journeys, and one shared conviction: that the nervous system is the missing piece in most wellbeing models.
Cheryl Wright
Psychologist I Doctoral Researcher
Cheryl's doctoral research explored hope as a therapeutic agent in the lives of adolescents navigating trauma. Inspired by Viktor Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning, she has spent her career understanding how meaning-making becomes a neurological anchor for resilience.
Carryn Martin
Occupational Therapist I Sensory Integration Practitioner
Carryn is an occupational therapist with over a decade of experience in sensory integration and paediatric practice, with a particular interest in nervous-system regulation, resilience and sensory wellbeing. Her work integrates sensory integration, Polyvagal-informed principles and body-first approaches to help people better understand themselves and their nervous systems. As both a certified Sensory Integration practitioner and Sensory Intelligence practitioner for adults, she brings together clinical expertise, research and lived experience in the development of NeuroSense.
Your nervous system
is not the problem.
It is the solution
Whether you are a parent, a professional, an educator, or an organisation — NeuroSense meets you where you are, and helps you build regulation from the inside out.
